TKR College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kukatpally, Hyderabd. It has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh and has been sanctioned seven UG courses – Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and PG Courses – M.Tech in CSE, SE, CAD/CAM, BT, VLSI Design, PE and Master of Computer Applications & MBA. In addition the College is running second shift Polytechnic in the branches – EEE, MECH, ECE & CSE.

Admission & Fee at TKR College of Engineering and Technology

B.Tech

Eligibility For Admissions

The qualification for admission to the First year of B.Tech Course is a pass in Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the Institute are made along with other Engineering colleges in the state through a Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt of Andhra Pradesh.

Allocation Of Seats

1.    70 % of seats are filled by Convener, EAMCET.
2.    30 % of seats are reserved as Management quota
3.    Diploma holders can seek admission in second year of B.Tech courses to the extent of 10% of the intake based on the merit in the ECET (FDH) under Lateral Entry Scheme.

M.Tech

Eligibility For Admissions

Candidates qualified in PGECET / GATE score secured in the relevant subject (or) Candidates must secure min. 50 % of marks in qualifying examination.

Allocation Of Seats

1.    70 % of seats are filled by Convener, PGCET.
2.    30 % of seats are reserved as Management quota

Fee Structure

The fee is fixed by State Government and is payable at the commencement of academic year.

LIBRARY AND LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE is headed by Prof. G.Srinivas Reddy, who is reputed for his administrative and organizational expertise. The library is fully automated with New Genlib licensed software, developed by Verus IT Technologies of Hyderabad is being used for bibliographic data of books and Periodicals for generation of barcodes. The Central library is automated with the “Barcode” Technology in the circulation system, in addition to regular services like circulation, reprographic services, and reference services. The library provides “Net based service” to the students of all branches and faculty. The library also has OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue): systems are kept on the either side of the entrance of the text book section in the main hall of the library, exclusively for the users to search the catalogue.
